Regaining Our Children Inc. is a not-for-profit prganization that supports the wearing of uniforms in the St. Louis Public Schools by raising funds to help provide the financially disadvantaged students with the uniform attire.
Supporters of Regaining Our Children share the belief: designer clothing and today’s fashion is a distraction within the public school systems. We also believe that the disruption caused by these clothes has greatly affected the children’s natural capabilities and has hindered their desire to reach for higher education.
The agency recently opened its Regaining Our Children Resale Shop at 3141 Meramec St. Currently, the Resale Shop is the agency’s main source of funding.
