The first St. Louis Public Schools Parent Assembly meeting for this year is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 15 at Metro High School, 4017 McPherson Avenue. The speaker will be Superintendent Creg E. Williams.
Also, a new Parent Center is located in the Central Office, 801 North 11th St., Room 1-4. It will be under the direction of Charlene Jones, external engagement officer.
Six Family Literacy Centers are also in various locations: Walbridge CEC, Sherman CEC, Scruggs Accelerated School, Bunche International Studies Middle, Vashon CEC High School and Stevens Middle CEC.
Parent Assembly dates for the 2005-06 school year are as follows. All meetings will be held at Metro High School at 6:30 p.m.
