The Eastern Adventist Youth Federation will hold a temperance presentation on Saturday, March 19 from 3-6 p.m. This event will be held at Northside Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 9001 Lucas Hunt Road. This is an open-door event.
The purpose of this program is to allow young people from grades 1 through college to creatively express themselves in various forms of communication about avoiding alcohol and drugs, HIV/AIDS prevention and promoting health.
Participants are judged on various criteria, including originality, stage presence, and clarity. The first-place winners from the St. Louis area will go on to compete in April with other winners from other states.
The temperance program is open to all young people grades 1-college, without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, disability or handicap.
