St. Louis Cares, a volunteer program of the United Way of Greater St. Louis for people on the go, has announced five “Let’s Get Started” orientation meetings for new volunteers this February.
The program was developed to provide one-time, short-term volunteer opportunities for people with busy schedules. Volunteers must attend a brief “Let’s Get Started” orientation meeting.
Meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, February 14 at the Central Reform Congregation in the Central West End, 5020 Waterman Avenue and 12:15 p.m. on Friday, February 25 at the United Way of Greater St. Louis office in downtown St. Louis, 910 N. 10th St.
Each volunteer can choose a project but there is no cost or any obligation to work a minimum number of hours.
