Thank you for including news and profiles about Africans in our community: Wangar Maathai and Yohannes Mengstaeb in the October 19 edition. St. Louis has a large community of immigrant citizens from African countries, especially Nigeria, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Sudan. I’d like to see regular articles about the social and political activities in this section of the black community. Our customs may be different but we share a very prominent heritage that cannot be disguised: our skin color.
