Regarding “Love, spank – but don’t abandon”: “Spank” is a poor word to use. “Reprove” is a better term to use. Spanking is a violent physical action that may replicate the cycle of violence for another generation. It is much better to resolve that let there be peace in Black America and let it begin with us.
