I was delighted to read the article by Dr. Teri A. Murray in this week’s Health Matters. I’ve asked our branch managers to post this article on bulletin boards in the branch libraries alongside flyers that announce our own related effort. On Saturday, October 8, individuals will be able to come to any regional library or Central Library to execute an advance health care directive, free of charge. And we’ll have notaries!

We too understand the importance of these documents and would like to get the word out to the St. Louis community.
