I relocated from Dayton, Ohio to work for Boeing. I attended the Gateway Connections program earlier this year. Gateway Connections helped me connect with other professionals from various companies who were also relocating to St. Louis.
I agree with those interviewed in your article that Gateway Connections is an awesome program. It assisted me in my transition to the St. Louis area and brought to my attention a unique culture and ongoing minority activities.
Valerie Patton is a wonderful lady who has an enthusiasm and energy for enhancing the development of minority professionals in the St. Louis area. She has opened up a number of new opportunities for the people who attend Gateway Connections seminars. She has transformed the lives of the people who have attended. I encourage Boeing minority employees to participate in a Gateway Connections seminar.
