On the southeastern side of the Gulf of Mexico, in the county of Hancock, Mississippi, is a small little seaport town of 8,000 or so called Bay St. Louis.
As I understand from a friend who lives the Biloxi area, Bay St. Louis was nearly completely leveled by Hurricane Katrina. Considering this town is our namesake, I would think that the St. Louis area community, with our partners in local governments, should be able to raise funds to help this devastated town.
