For almost four years, Bush repeatedly attacked anyone as unpatriotic who dared question his handling of the war in Iraq. Even when presented with reasonable evidence of faulty intelligence, the Bush administration continued to take the low road that led to this war.

Careers were compromised by certain Bush loyalists who put themselves in harm’s way to push the Bush agenda: Colin Powell, Scooter Libby and others, as well as the exposure of a CIA agent and her husband, whose careers were being derailed for their attempt to expose this faulty intelligence – not to mention the many lives of the brave men and women that were lost or wounded, and their families have to live with the pain and real travesty of it all.

It wasn’t until his approval ratings continued to plummet that Bush agreed that it was okay to disagree on the handling of the war in Iraq without being unpatriotic and that he and his administration did in fact go to war on faulty evidence. From day one, George Bush had an agenda to go to war.
