Many individuals and organizations continue to work productively for the benefit of children in the St. Louis Public Schools. Mentor St. Louis has more than 900 volunteer adults from diverse backgrounds who have committed to a caring relationship with students in the SLPS. That commitment continues, independent of any changes in the board or the administration.
As an organization that raises money from people who care about children in the SLPS and whose funding is entirely separate from the SLPS, Mentor St. Louis will continue to put kids first and continue to make an important difference in the lives of students in the SLPS. The kids’ lives are too important to do otherwise.
