My observation over the years suggests that Circuit Judge David Dowd is incapable of rendering a fair opinion on School Board member William Haas’ request for a special prosecutor because he alleges Jennifer Joyce, city prosecutor, is not doing her job.
Dowd’s opinions always tend to be against the interest of African-American and females who do not serve the white-power structure’s status quo. That is usually racist and/or sexist. Haas does not now represent this status quo. Amy Hilgemann and Veronica O’Brien do not now represent this status quo. Therefore, there is reason to believe that Dowd’s upcoming ruling will go against Haas.
After all, observers must remember that Dowd got to be judge because he and family members were very influential within the Democratic Party, not because he established a history of being a fair-minded person. Vince Schoemehl, Francis Slay, and Joyce, now represents this same racist and sexist character within the party. Police Chief Joseph Mokaw did do not do his duty because he too shares those values and is obligated to the party. Nobody knows why Freeman Bosley, Jr. feels so obligated after the party threw him to the dogs.
However, since things equal to the same things are equal to each other, then it is understandable why racism and sexism continues to run rampart in St. Louis. Because of who stands to gain, this behavior is promoted by local political officials and sanctioned by the so-called justice system. Time will tell.
