I would ask Kevin Evans if he has ever lived in an Islamic society that is ruled by both the Qur’an and Sharia law?
Earlier this year, three homosexual men were beheaded in Saudi Arabia (Sharia and Qur’anic law). Wife-beating is practiced big-time in Muslim societies, because it is condoned by the Qur’an. When someone is caught stealing, their right hand and arm are cut off – that is, their eating hand and religious-ritual hand, while the left hand is used for toilet functions. It is shameful for them that they have to use the same hand they use for toilet purposes for eating and religious ritual. In the Sudan, the black African Christians in the south are being annihilated by the northern Arabs and Muslims under the belief that is what the Qur’an teaches.
I do not have to talk to Muslim scholars when I have lived with the people themselves, next door to a mosque in North Africa.
Many American Muslims have seen Islam practiced only in this country and not where it dominates and where Christians and Jews must fear for their lives.
