I hope that those who are fighting to reinstate Creg Williams and Floyd Irons realize the reason it is so important to maintain involvement in the school board – “they” are already controlling revitalization of our historic past (see http://www.onsl.org).

Let us please continue the fight to keep strong black men in place to aid our youth. Let us also not let local legalities and dreams of the suburbs prevent us from renewing and maintaining the beauty of our beloved neighborhoods. If “they” can renew it, so can we.

Speaking of real estate, the Roberts family is touting its city developments but not stating how many of these new homes will be available for low- to moderate-income residents and how much, if any, funds will be allotted for the elderly to remain in the homes and benefit from city or state grants to improve upkeep rather than be forced out by eminent domain.
