There were so many excellent articles about Republican radicalism in this week’s American, but George Curry’s column really brought out into the open the crux of why we must all counter-claim the propaganda that Republicans are “conservatives,” when in fact they have upturned our country’s traditional values.

Since the 1970s, I have witnessed the infiltration by the Republican-international corporate “establishment” into every labor union and the AFL-CIO, into the Sierra Club, into the ACLU, into government, into the educational and legal systems of our nation, even into the NAACP.

Curry’s column alertly described the dysfunction of the Democratic Party, as it abandoned the public and our Constitution by allowing the ram-rodding

approval of Judge Roberts into the Supreme Court.

Isn’t it time for the Democratic Party to begin openly embracing democracy

with enthusiastic purpose? And why is it that the Green Party is the only

party in this nation that has democracy written into its platform?
