The American ran a front-page story about the endorsement given by a group that must have been put together the night before the article was published, because I had never heard of it. The article went on to state the group was founded by Frankie Freeman, James Buford and Sandra Moore.

The group, called Advocates for Kids, gave their rubber-stamp approval to Flint Fowler, Joe Keaveny and Joe Moramarco. How they were able to check my background and credentials as a Board of Education candidate is a mystery, being as they never spoke to me.

What I also find shocking is that Frankie Freeman would be party to such an obvious Schoemehl/Slay end play. To have James “vouchers” Buford associated with this group furthers my suspicion that this endorsement holds no relevance toward helping voters make an informed choice.
