I applaud Minister Allen Wicks for being bold enough to address
such a controversial subject as homosexuality in the music ministry. But, I take issue with my friend and colleague, Bishop Wyatt I. Greenlee.
Sir, the practice of homosexuality IS repulsive. It is SIN.
Please note the adjoining promise from 2 Chron. 7:14: “then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (KJV). Oops! Sorry if I quoted a “known homosexual.” Does anyone know if and when King James was converted? The entire Body of Christ is filled with the souls of repentant and pardoned men, but nowhere in His body is there a fit for the practicing SINNER, no matter his sin of CHOICE.
Bishop W. I. Greenlee is a man who possesses a great compassion for lost souls. We must not, however, allow our compassion for those who are suffering from the pathological disorders of the soul to blind us from our duty to “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins” (Isaiah 58:1).
