James Buford is one of the few black Republicans that I can halfway stomach. As usual, though, he came through like a typical black sycophant in his comments.
While there has been some improvement economically in the black community, the vast majority of black people are still suffering. The reason for this suffering is still what W.E.B DuBois stated years ago, the problem of the color line. I suggest that Mr. Buford gets a book titled Black Wealth, White Wealth to get an accurate acessment of what is going on in the black community. Jerome Redding (J.R.)
