During the recent disastrous storm we experienced, the workers of Ameren UE, the National Guard and workers from other areas who assisted definitely rose to the occasion. They worked extra long hours for an extended period of time and dedicated themselves to restoring electrical power in an unusual crisis. There are those who were separated from their families for hours and days at a time. To these families we say, “Thank you!” To those who made the supreme sacrifice and did not experience the return of their loved ones, we extend our heartfelt sympathy and love.
