“The Carrot Seed” by Ruth Kraus is the tale of a young boy who plants a seed and everyone tells him “it won’t come up.” Despite what he’s told, he continues to water and nurture the ground. A carrot beyond compare finally flourishes.
This is our commitment to the war on poverty; when the world tells us things won’t change, we will continue making a difference one family at a time. We will continue to provide hope to those in need, with the faith of knowing that change will happen, and we will persist in moving families forward.
