Early this morning, police were searching for two men who reportedly robbed a popular Central West End eatery as they prepared to close shop.
According to reports, the armed men threatened workers and stole money and alcohol from the restaurant on Euclid and Maryland Plaza around 1:15 a.m. Monday.
Authorities said someone at the restaurant, possibly an employee, called police on a cell phone to report the crime.
There were no reported injuries during the robbery.
