Early this morning, St. Louis County Police issued a St. Louis Area Regional Amber Alert (S.A.R.A.A.) for a a 10 month old child abducted during a carjacking in north county which resulted in the shooting death of the child’s father. The child was found at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

The abduction took place on Monday, at 10:30 PM, on the 7200 block of Burrwood, St. Louis, Missouri 63136.

St. Louis County Police responded to a shots fired call on Burrwood and found a 31 year old man shot and lying in the parking lot deceased. Missing from the scene was a blue, 2000 Lincoln Navigator, with 20-inch rims, Missouri license 7AS61R which reportedly was transporting his 10 month old child, Ivory Roach. The vehicle is owned by another family member.

The suspect is said to be a black male and bald with a small beard or goatee, medium build, wearing a white t-shirt.

The vehicle was last scene driving towards Lucas and Hunt Road from Burrwood. The suspect is to be considered armed and dangerous.
