The Christian Hospital Auxiliary was recognized by the Missouri Hospital Association as its 2018 Auxiliary of the Year. It was honored in the large-hospital category (300-plus members) in recognition of nearly 46,000 hours of service to the hospital, BJC HealthCare and the community. This is the eighth time the Christian Hospital Auxiliary has received the award in the last 40 years.
The Christian Hospital Auxiliary operates the hospital gift shop, as well as the Curiosity Shoppe resale shop, located in the Detrick Building on the hospital campus. The group was chartered in 1964 and hosts numerous fund-raisers throughout the year.
