According to KSDK.com, plans to revitalize a St. Louis County mall start later this morning (Tues. Nov. 13).

Local politicians will break ground on the redevelopment of Northwest Plaza at 10 a.m.

Several of the old buildings will be demolished for the new plan.

Some reports say new box stores and restaurants will be built and the 12-story office tower will be renovated.

The project is expected to cost $106-million. NewsChannel 5 learned over the summer that about $30-million of the project will be paid for by tax money.
