Compass Retirement Solutions, LLC, hosted their most recent client event downtown at The Caramel Room at Bissinger’s Historic Chocolate Factory. The event consisted of dinner and dancing, and featured entertainment from The Jazz Edge Orchestra. Not only was it an exciting affair for clients, but for the community as well. Donations were made to three local organizations which each have personal significance to the Compass Retirement Solutions team.

College Bound STL, The National Kidney Foundation, and the Pink Angels Foundation were each awarded $2,000 from Compass Retirement Solutions. “These organizations are truly inspiring. I am a first generation college graduate, so I recognize the challenges in achieving a degree,” commented Marvin. “I have an aunt who passed from breast cancer and another aunt who is currently awaiting a kidney transplant.”

Over the past year, Marvin Mitchell, President and CEO of Compass Retirement Solutions, has expanded his company by adding three new team members and moving into a new office space. Marvin was most recently named one of the top 20 people under 40 to know in St. Louis in Gazelle magazine, and was featured on the cover of Town and Style magazine. He has maintained the practice of hosting client events throughout the years, but with the company’s new growth, he rolled out the red carpet this time – literally. Not only did the event honor his clients, but it also recognized local organizations for their contributions to the community.

Compass Retirement Solutions focuses on helping baby boomers prepare for, and make their money last through retirement. “We value our clients and enjoy spending quality time with them. Events such as this, provide the opportunity to show our appreciation for them and their business,” Marvin said. “We look forward to hosting future events and growing as a company, as well as servicing a larger part of the community.”
