Harris-Stowe State University Assistant Professor of Business Administration Dr. Robert Kamkwalala was recently selected to serve on the advisory committee for the Business Department of Gateway STEM High School.
“I will be sharing ideas with other committee members on how to improve the curriculum and exchanging ideas with the business faculty on how to improve and engage the students. These efforts will also include providing seminars on professional development,” Kamkwalala said.
Dr. Kamkwalala’s invitation to serve in this capacity was extended by his former student and HSSU alumnae Gannelle Claxton. After earning a business degree from HSSU, Claxton went on to complete her master’s in education from Lindenwood University. She is now full-time faculty in the Business Department at Gateway.
