Last night (Sun., Nov. 8) East St. Louis city councilmen fired their city manager Sunday night.
After serving as city manager for more than three years, city leaders said that they wanted to go in a different direction and let Robert Betts go.
According to KSDK.com, Mayor Alvin Parks has tapped budget director, Delitra Hudson, to serve as interim city manager and continue to do both jobs for the near future.
