At 4 p.m. this afternoon (Monday) Police Chief Joe Mokwa, the Mayor and other leaders in the community will be honoring crime victims of 2007 with the 16th Annual Families Advocating Safe Streets New Year’s Eve Candlelight Service.
The event will commemorate those who lost their lives to violence in 2007. Names of homicide victims from St. Louis City and County and East St. Louis will be read.
The service will be held at El-Bethel COGIC Church ( 4020 Page).
