Funeral arrangements have been finalized for Tyrell Thompson.
The 28-year-old emerging visual artist was tragically killed during an attempted robbery early Thursday morning in the Central West End.
His death came just days after the anniversary of the death of his father Tyrone Thompson – who died under similar circumstances six years ago.
Nearly 200 friends, family and members of the creative community gathered to remember Tyrell Thompson Thursday evening outside of Parks, a venue in Old North St. Louis that the urban arts community patronizes as part of the monthly First Friday Gallery Walk.
His arrangements are as follows:
The visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 14 from 3-8 p.m. at William C. Harris Chapel, 9825 Halls Ferry Rd. 63136. The Funeral will held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15 at New Life Christian Church, 1170 Wiethaupt Rd. Florissant, MO 63031.
