The first day of spring is coming in like a lion – and this cat will roar for at least another two days.
Motorists were greeted with light rain and sleet early today. This will give way to showers this afternoon. Monday’s high will be near 40 degrees.
Rain with a few thunderstorms should hit Monday evening, then cloudy late with snow developing, possibly heavy at times. With a low of 31, 2 to 4 inches of snow expected.
Light snow will continue during the Tuesday morning rush hour. It should taper to a few snow showers during the afternoon. About one more inch of snow expected before it ends Tuesday evening.
