The speed limit on a road linking St. Louis University and Barnes Jewish Hospital is being reduced.
St. Louis Streets Director Todd Waelterman told KSDK-TV the speed limit on Forest Park Avenue is being reduced from 35 to 30 miles per hour.
The limit change takes effect between S. Kingshighway and S. Grand boulevards.
Waelterman said the speed reduction is being done out of pedestrian safety.
