Multiple organizations are working to address the most immediate needs of our community including Greater St. Louis Inc., the Regional Business Council, Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and United Way of Greater St. Louis.
The items most needed according to St. Louis and St. Louis Count officials, in advance of expected storm this week, are:
- Tarps
- Plywood and two-by-fours
- Wood screws
- Exterior caulk and caulk guns
- Tools: Hammers, tape, flashlights, wheelbarrows, drills, reciprocating saws, and utility knives
- Additional supplies needed: batteries, tents, ponchos, umbrellas, paper towels, cleaning products, disinfecting wipes, bleach, and first aid kits.
Volunteers Needed
With more storms approaching, there is an urgent need for volunteers who can help secure tarps to roofs and for the proper equipment to get to roofs safely.
Donations Needed
The City of St. Louis has worked with the St. Louis Community Foundation to establish the City of St. Louis Tornado Response Fund. This fund supports the efforts to provide immediate relief and long-term rebuilding of areas impacted by the storms. Donate now.

I have 6 large bags of clothing to donate. Mostly men’s pants, jeans, shirts. Where can I take them. I live in Crystal City (Jefferson county) Where is the closest drop-off point for me.
My family and I was in the storm. We lived in the family house that was passed down from our grandparents who are now deceased. We did not have insurance on the house yet. We were told the house is not safe. We were out in a hotel from July 5th to July 12th. We don’t have no place to go after that and we only have $200 to our name. Please can someone help us. Is it possible for someone to let us camp out on their property with a tent
