For the first time in the 34-year history of the Ms. Missouri Senior America pageant—and across all 42 states where it is held—an all-Black court has been crowned. Representing the St. Louis region, Queen Gloria Jean Vann of Jennings, 1st Runner-Up Ruth Lee of Florissant (and a proud member of the St. Louis American staff), and 2nd Runner-Up Rhonda Foster of Florissant made pageant history. The trailblazing trio also brought home 1st place for their float in the 2025 Jennings Juneteenth Parade.
