Harris-Stowe State University (HSSU) is pleased to announce the Coordinating Board of Higher Education has approved the university’s proposal to offer a Bachelor of Marketing degree.

Beginning in the fall 2015 semester, Harris-Stowe will have a total of 31 majors, minors and certificate programs; 17 were added since summer 2014 (see list below).

For the first time in university history, Harris-Stowe will offer completely online courses for degrees in Criminal Justice, Healthcare Management and General Education. In addition, HSSU added its first-ever certificate program in Urban Agriculture as a part of the university’s ongoing quality educational plan.

“Harris-Stowe is in the midst of a tremendous renaissance that is demonstrated in our ever-expanding academic programs, which is at the heart of our academic excellence agenda,” said Dr. Dwaun J. Warmack, president, Harris-Stowe. “The breadth of baccalaureate offerings – from urban politics and pre-law to urban agriculture and now marketing – means that Harris-Stowe students can fill a greater range of exciting careers.”

This fall Harris-Stowe will offer new degree programs in 19 majors, 11 minors and 1 certificate program, including:
