The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will provide St. Louis and St. Charles with $23,064,723 in federal grant funding.
The grants will come from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) programs.
St. Charles will receive a $340,249 grant and St. Louis will receive a
$21,362,421 grant from the CDBG program to develop affordable housing
opportunities for low to moderate-income families. Additionally, St. Louis
will receive a $1,362,053 HOPWA grant to provide housing assistance and
related supportive services to low-income persons with HIV/AIDs and their
families.
