A deliveryman for Imo’s Pizza was shot outside his car in the 5000 block of Emerson Avenue about 12:30 a.m. today, police said, and died a few minutes later.
The victim had stopped to deliver a pizza, got out of the car, was shot, managed to get back into his vehicle and drove off, police said.
Police said the car then crossed West Florissant Avenue and crashed into a fence at Calvary Cemetery. The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
