A 15-year-old boy is jailed on one million dollars bond after being charged in the East St. Louis shooting death of a dump truck driver.
The suspect’s name isn’t being disclosed because he’s a juvenile. He’s the second person accused in the April 17th slaying of Kirk Anthony.
Authorities say Anthony was visiting someone at East St. Louis’ Orr Weathers Housing complex when he was shot.
Last week, 19-year-old Joshua Custer of East St. Louis, was charged with the first-degree murder in the killing. He’s jailed in Belleville on one million dollars bond.
The juvenile suspect was arrested Wednesday at a home in Cahokia.
