Larry McCulley is the new CEO and president of Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation (SIHF) and Touchette Regional Hospital. The SIHF board made the appointment effective April 1.

For the past seven years at SIHF, McCulley oversaw 35 medical offices in Southwestern Illinois, which included more than 600 staff members, 160 healthcare providers and responsibility for a $48 million budget.

“Under Mr. McCulley’s leadership, he has led the expansion of new services and access points through the Board’s support, including funding for a new Migrant Health program, Homeless services, and Public Housing health care. New services were created for dental care at five locations, a pharmacy program with 14 community based pharmacies, integration of primary care and mental health services with local partners are all part of the successful growth of services,” said Willie B. Nelson, chairman of the SIHF Board of Directors. “He has done an outstanding job and we are pleased to have such a talented and dedicated new CEO and President to lead us into the future.”

Robert Klutts, former CEO, will continue to work for SIHF part-time as a senior advisor.

SIHF operates in 17 towns in Southern Illinois, including East St. Louis, Centreville, Washington Park, Alton and Belleville and other locations in St. Clair and Madison counties.
