On Wednesday, Nov. 10 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. the documentary, “The Silent Truth” depicts the journey of a Florissant, Missouri father, John Johnson, PhD, to find out who is responsible for the death of his daughter, PFC. LaVena Johnson.
The screening of “The Silent Truth” is being presented at the Webster University Theatre on Lockwood in Webster Groves, Mo. as part of the school’s Human Rights series. Admission is free and open to the public.
Johnson, a 2004 Hazelwood Central High School graduate, was killed under suspicious circumstances while serving in the military in Iraq. The documentary is directed and co-produced by Joan Brooker-Marks.
