A 22-year-old man was shot during an attempted carjacking on the north side of Laclede’s Landing.
Erica Van Ross, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said two suspects armed with guns approached the man and demanded his car at 800 N. 2nd Street Friday at 2:47 a.m.
The victim started to drive-off when he heard four gunshots.
When the victim realized he had been shot in the shoulder and groin, he drove to the Lumiere Place Casino for help and police were called.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and was treated and released.
Police have not made any arrests in the case.
