The Major Case Squad has been called in to investigate after a man’s body was found in East St. Louis yesterday evening (Tues., Aug. 4).
The body was discovered around 8:00 p.m. Trendley and 4th Street.
The victim’s body was discovered in the road by someone passing by.
The victim is described as a black man between 17 and 20-years-old. He was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and red and white athletic shoes.
Investigators also say that the victim had mohawk style hair and they are hoping the victim’s tattoos will help identify him. He has one tattoo on his right forearm with the letters FAM and on his left forearm, the word FIRST. He also has a scar on the top of his right forearm.
