The Missouri Lottery says that monthly proceeds to public education have exceeded $30 million for the first time in their 26 year history.
There will be $30.3 million transferred to public education from ticket sales in the month of March.
The previous record was $29 million from ticket sales in September 2011.
A total of $238 million has been transferred to public education in fiscal year 2012.
