Local dance teacher, professor and cultural organizer Mama Lisa and Fundisha Enterprises brought the Mother Continent (and, more specifically, the Ga people of Ghana) to the Saint Louis Art Museum on Mother’s Day, when Nii Tettey Tetteh and the Kusun Ensemble from Ghana thrilled a local audience. The group taught classes in African dance the day before and followed their performance at the Art Museum by jamming with locals on the University City Loop.
