Today at 12pm CT (Tues., Nov. 11), the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), in partnership with Saint Louis area activists organizing in response to the recent killings of Michael Brown Jr.,
Vonderrit Myers, and Kajieme Powell by Saint Louis City and Ferguson police, will hold a legal observer training at Washington University’s Bryan Cave Courtroom (room 310)].
As protestors and law enforcement both prepare for the Grand Jury’s announcement as to whether or not they will render charges against Darren Wilson, activists and legal advocates will be hosting myriad trainings from legal observation trainings, to non-violent direct action trainings, and street medic trainings.
