An off-duty police officer is recovering following an early morning shooting at a home in St. Louis County.
The shooting happened in the 2100 block of Northern Limits near the Florissant city line. Authorities say the officer returned fire at a suspect, hitting the man, who ran off.
The officer’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening. It was not immediately clear which police department the officer works for.
