High school seniors and college freshmen can enter the Regions Bank Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest between now and February 26.
In 500 words or less, the essay should address how an African-American has been an inspiration to the application and it should discuss the contributions of the person who is his/her inspiration.
Sixteen winning high school senior who live in states with Regions branches will earn a $5,000 scholarships to attend college in the fall of 2015.Under similar criteria, 16 freshmen, sophomore or junior colleges students currently attending college who win the essay contest will be awarded $3,500 scholarships.
