A report released by the United States Chamber of Commerce has St. Louis listed among one of the top-performing cities for starting a business.

The city is among 10 listed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Others include New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago.

According to the report, St. Louis has minimal procedures and low administrative costs to start a new limited liability company. The report says the city also has an efficient process for getting construction permits and low administrative costs for contract disputes in court.

The report also highlights St. Louis’ growing tech sector, specifically how the business community and city have worked together to create incubators and accelerators aimed at helping startup companies.
