In response to widespread power outages resulting from a severe winter storm, the American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter is opening three emergency shelters to provide a safe place for residents to seek 24-hour refuge from the cold temperatures. Each full-service location will open at 1:00 p.m. and provide for emergency needs including food, shelter and health services. Red Cross emergency shelters will remain open 24/7 as long as they are needed, and the locations include:
