The St. Louis Public Schools will host a Teacher Job Fair designed to
recruit high quality teachers who have a passion to teach in an urban setting. The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., Saturday, January 21, at the Gateway Elementary School, 1200 North Jefferson.
The school district is in need of instructors who are qualified to teach all subject areas.
However, there is a greater need for teachers who hold certification in math, science and music.
“This is an exciting time for our district because we’re changing to meet the needs of our students,” said Toni Hill, interim executive director of human resources for SLPS. “Our superintendent’s vision is to make our school district the best that it can be.”
Candidates are required to bring a resume, certification copy or college eligibility letter.
Principals and human resource staff members will interview potential hires.
