According to the Associated Press, State Auditor Susan Montee’s audit of the city of St. Louis is so extensive that findings will be released in two press conferences a week apart.
The first of two will take place on Tuesday – which will deliver reports on the city’s Department of Human Services, the Lead Safe St. Louis Program and the Department of Health.
On June 30, Montee will outline audits of the Streets Department, the Office of Collector of Revenue and the Office of the License Collector.
The audit began in response to a petition signed by more than 7,700 St. Louis residents.
